Hi All,

Been a lurker for a while... have a question...

I applied to a T15 school last year, in Round 4, on pretty much the last day of R4, and was granted an interview very soon after, and then was put on the waitlist after my interview, where I stayed until very recently. I recently applied again in the beginning of R1, and have not heard anything, even though various people at this school have been granted interviews...

What could be going on here?

I thought I was a lock for at least an interview, if I was interviewed last year in R4...

Could it be that they dont think they need an interview, and they'll base their decision on last year's interview?

It's quite possible.

There was a guy last year who applied to Ross (was not a re-applicant) who got accepted after being on the waitlist, but was never interviewed.

In your case, the no interview thing would make even more sense.

You could email the adcom and ask a general question about re-app interviews. I'd avoid asking about your particular case unless you have reason to believe they lost your app or something (you might be seen as one of those nagging applicants).

Good luck!

Thanks! I hope this is the case... I mean, I literally interviewed like 4 months ago... so I'm hoping they figure not much has changed...
