There's absolutely nothing wrong with reapplying with a higher GMAT score, but keep in mind that the Admissions teams will look for progress across multiple areas of your application. That means along with your higher GMAT score you should have further progress in gaining exposure the leadership challenges and continued/enhanced extracurriculars that stand out.

In the meantime, why not maximize the strength of your current application by effectively brainstorming your work and other history to extract more valuable elements that can make your applications really stand out from the crowd.
