Hi i have already given a GMAT attempt about 2 months back and got a 660 (Q 47 V 34) but didn't get shortlisted in my desired b-school, got almost 690-710 scores in all my prep exams with my quant score being constant at 49 & verbal fluctuating between 35-37. But got 710 in all my GMAT prep exams (GMAT 1,2,3 & 4). i always had problems with DS questions in the quant section and i am always in doubt about my answers in the verbal section, as verbal has always been my weakness(my writing displays that) . I have again started preparing for the GMAT and will give my second attempt in November/December. SO, please can someone guide me on how should i approach to get a score of 700+ (710/720 will do).
I feel that i will have a lot of doubts if i go for self preparation and a little guidance in verbal is definitely needed. SO please guide me about what should i do. Should i prepare on my own or take classes, if take classes which one should i take. Reply ASAP

Hi Shyam,
Try answering more questions from verbal section and you will be more comfortable while giving the test. This is the only way to overcome your weakness. Which are your target schools? You may analyse the chances of B-Schools here: https://goo.gl/RZg44t. With your 660 score, you can definitely target the schools between 20-45 in ranking. However you will have to submit the best application essays possible. And if you have an option to retake the GMAT sooner, it would be better and also try to apply in the R1.
