Hi,

After much deliberations i have decided to re-take GMAT soon.

while i am gearing up once again, i sense that i wont have CATs to practice by the end of the prep.

I have already exhausted MGMAT 6 CATs, PowerPrep, GMATprep v1 & v2, Knewton Free

So where do i get more tests from (but of standard that matched GMAT the closest)? would need at least 4, to be sure of my prerp?

Attempt the GMATPrep and decrease 50 points....
There are many new questions every time you attempt....There are repeats as well, but they are the best indicator of GMATPrep...

thanks for reply and extending support; but i feel the solution is not comprehensive enough. I would still need to focus on some CATs for final stages of prep, right? tricking the software with 50 points decrease, would not be worth it. .

can i buy 4-6 CATs from Knewton etc. Just CATSs!

Who asked you to refer only the official solutions from GMATPrep ?
Search the questions that you get wrong/not 100% sure on the net. You will get really useful solutions from which you can learn a lot....

I can swear that the solutions for the Quant. sections are really pathetic :( Even the solution posted by many prep. companies are pathetic in Quant....But there are really good solutions as well...That is why we have forums like GC,BTG,etc...Read the complete thread and I bet you will stumble upon the solution that you are looking...This is hard and time-consuming but if you get something so easily, I bet you will never remember the best solution.

Why are you writing the CATs ?
Is it for building the stamina and stimulating test experience ? Then, go for any good ones from test prep companies. There are many experts who can suggest which are the best ones.
Is it to predict your score ? Go for GMATPrep. There is no substitute as far as I know.

Since you already exhausted the two GMATPreps, I am suggesting a round-about way in which you can not only stimulate the test, but also predict the score.

If you want everything together attempt the real GMAT 8-)
