Hello everyone,

I recently got admitted to one of the M7 schools.
As I now got an admission, I am planning on quitting work this month and start preparing for a professional certification/license exam full-time for the next 6-7 months until Fall term begins.

However, one thing that worries me is that my background check has not yet been finished and whether the fact that I left work can become a problem.
Is this something that could become problematic to background check if I am no longer working for the company?

Would you say I have to check with the school/Re Vera before I quit work?

I think you should contact Re-Vera first before quitting the company.
Moreover, you might have filed the expected number of month's work ex too in the application. That might also change.

So, talk to Re Vera first and tel them about the situation before quitting.

If someone had a work position for which you listed the number of direct/indirect reports at 2-4, does Re Vera ask about that?

I might need to put my boss in contact with HR, but I'd rather pester people proactively unless Re Vera asks about that by default.

The background check should verify the dates you worked at the company line up with what you put on your application. Unless you decided to leave the job after you submitted the application and extended the dates you were there for some reason, I can't see why this would be a problem.
