Folks who are lagging on verbal section, esp. reading comprehension -- what are you reading? what is your plan to improve?
I would prefer suggested reading which are available either in paper prints or in audio format…bcoz of my schedule.

Adding some details - so I have been on and off practicing from last 4 months and if anything, my GMAT score is going down. I am self studying and using Veritas material and official guides. English is not my first language and at times, I just don't know what it means, even if i read slowly. so tactics/notes taking are one thing but general reading skill is where I feel i am lacking too. I am actually not looking for a audio book but rather reports, magazines, article or essay something that is as complex as RC and boring too
I can easily read an interesting book but going from one topic to another and things that I might not be least interested in ..oh God That's a challenge.
If it is on paper and audio, I can get some done on commute. I have a packed schedule and by evening my eyes are already fried so paper reading can help.
My goal is 700+. I have a very average GPA so scoring good on GMAT becomes even more important for my profile.

Hi gmatwithpooja,
From your post, I assume that you're not performing well when you deal with RC prompts/questions during a CAT.
To improve in RC, you actually need to improve in a few areas, including HOW you read (become an "active" reader), your note-taking, your ability to find the common 'clues' that many RC questions are based on (and move past the filler/details in the prompts), your understanding of the common question types and the typical wrong answers that often appear, etc.
You also have to consider the format with which you study. The GMAT is administered on a computer, so practicing out of a book or off of audio-files is NOT a realistic way to build those RC skills in the long run.
How long have you been studying?
What resources have you been using?
What is your goal score?

It discusses the books one can read to improve reading skills.
How will audio format help you improve your reading skills?
Printed books is a passive way of improving reading skills - which is great if you have sufficient time. It is relatively easy to get good at RC if you are an avid reader.
On the other hand, if you are planning to take GMAT in 2-3 months, reading 2-3 books will not have much effect. You will be better off focusing on RC passages, question types etc.
