hi guys, I am the only one massively failing at reading comprehension? I am practicing for months now and I get only 1/4 questions right. I am aware of the strategies such as "chunking', however, I find it really hard to apply these strategies into practice.

Thanks, Monika

Understanding the essence of the Passage trumps understanding the exact literal meaning. If you understand why the passage has been written you might get >50% questions right even without understanding the passage clearly.
