Please give me some idea how difficult the real test is. How is it compared to prep or MGMAT or any other CATs? I heard that it is getting harder and harder, and far away from prep. Is it true?

I know it is kind of useless and no matter how hard it, we have to prepare well, but just want some direction.

I gave my GMAT on Nov 15 and would say that the Quant section is pretty similar to MGMAT CATs
However I found the verbal section to be more diificult than any of the MGMAT or GMATprep tests.

You mean it's more tricky or more difficult to understand?
Or...both...

Like, in SC section, it's hard to identify what point it's testing; or in CR section, none of the strategies seem work. I heard that in CR section, it's now useless to predict any answer because none of the choices kind of obey the previous "rules"

Took it Oct 24th.. Found it more difficult than prep software, but ran into time issues I never experienced in practice. Will have to work quicker next time cause i missed two easy Quants i could have done in my sleep at the end..

Sometimes you gotta know when to give up rather than keep trying to solve.

As for verbal, scored 5 points worse than any practice, which was disappointing to say the least.

The same question as the post above. Can you explain the "difficulty" in each section?
