Here is my situation:
KU- full-ride scholarship + $15,000 with $10,000 Fellowship to do Business Analytic research, given to one student per academic year.
SMU-$20,000 scholarship and they've said they may be able to add slightly more to tip the scales back.
700 GMAT
I'm very torn. Would be content in KC (grew up there) or Dallas (great job market). SMU is obviously the more highly ranked program, however I would still have to take out about $100,000 in student loans. With KU, I would leave with my MBA and make $25,000 doing it. I would like to enter finance or management consulting, which I know would be tough with a KU MBA, however being able to say it was on full-ride and then some (with Fellowship) may be just as distinguishing as an SMU MBA.
Thank you in advance for any advice--GMAT Club has been an absolutely incredible resource.
