Hi everyone,
I need your advice. I want to take the GMAT before December this year but my problem is MATH. My MATH skills are very weak and I barely cleared Math tests in undergrad school.
I want to know if you think I should join a GMAT PREP course. I live very close to Manhattan and as you know there are several courses here that I could look into BUT my MATH being so weak, these courses might not help me at all.
My husband took the GMAT 4 years ago and scored 720 and got into a top B school. He has a very good MATH background, his MATH skills are excellent and English was his problem area.
He did not take any courses but he says that all these courses assume that you already have basic MATH skills and that you are there for the GMAT Math and not to start from scratch. I believe he could be correct.
I REALLY want to join some class so that I can have a systematic learning approach and it will motivate me to study.
Right now I feel like I am wasting time. Its very difficult to study on my own.
Please let me know what you think I should do.
Thanks,
Sandy
