I was accepted to INSEAD last year after getting off the waitlist, however I had to withdraw due to a personal injury (and logistical challenges around getting to class physically on time).
I was thinking about reapplying again this year, since the Admissions Committee did encourage me to reapply if I was still interested.
I just wanted to know if anyone on this board has done something like this in the past and succeeded? If so - would you be able to share tips? Thank you !
Edit: I had asked to defer with a doctor's note and everything but they did not budge.

Do you know or guess why you were waitlisted last year? Maybe you can improve on those things like GMAT Score, work ex, etc. Getting the admit from the waitlist is definitely a good sign but you may want to highlight a few things about how your application is even better than last year's application.

Not sure to be honest. Could be one (or both) of: a) Lower than average GMAT (which I did work on, and possibly hence got an admit later) b) Lower than average work experience (which I don't think should be problem as I am applying with 1 more year of experience)
