I have noticed that several admitted people at schools such as Wharton and Stanford with a quite decent aplication but with stellar recommendation from alumni.
I have not had the luck to meen an alumnus but I made all my efforts to have a good application.
Do you think that having alumni as recommenders is decesive for admission? In general, Do you think credentials are important for a good recommendation?
