In the survey portion of the LOR, where they ask you to rate the applicant based on various abilities, my recommender just informed me that she put "Exceeds Expectations" for every single item except one as "Meets Expectations". Is this going to be viewed negatively as being too positive?

Honestly I think 90% of all other recs will come like that.
5% will come in as 100% are exceeds expectations and 5% will be filled out by somehonest jerk recommenders who will put "does not meet expectations" for one or few.
These are generally not very useful and schools have been going away from these questions. i believe Judge has recently https://www.thecambridgembaadmissions.co ... onference/
But I welcome anyone else with better insider info, especially for the OP's schools.

Does it water down how they look at the recommendation as a whole, or do they just not really pay attention to the ratings in that case, just putting weight on the recommender's essay answers?
