Hi, guys!
I’m considering applying to the HBS 2+2 Program. As if, I’m not so sure about whom should I ask for the recommendations since I’m just a college junior so the option is really limited. Hope you guys can help!
(Ps. I’m studying in major of advertising and minor in film)
Here are my choices :
1. The professor from creative classes, an expert in his field, a real Mad-Men guy, who sees me as his successor. I got many A from his classes and also some impressive compliments regarding creativity.
2. The professor from marketing classes who saw lots of my leadership potentials. She likes me as one of her excellent students.
3. The professor from film classes, graduated from UCLA (very specialized for the industry), appreciated my works both of filmmaking and criticizing. Got every A from all of her courses. (Many people say I’d better be a film student than an ad student since I got MUCH better grades in minor and also produced some popular movies)
4. An account executive from a giant well-known ad-firm who was my mentor during the internship (which I thought I did pretty well). However, as the nature of every ad-firms’ interns, I had more than one mentor (about four, actually) which means I didn’t have a chance to show any of them my full potential as I worked so little for each. Although they seemed impressed and gave me a good grade, I feel uncomfortable to ask for a recommendation because they rather know neither about me nor my profile. They don't see any leadership in me.
5. The president of my high-school alumni association (one of my ECs), the best elite girls’ school in my country. I had done so many things with her since I was a class president until now as an alumni committee. Also, I received many association’s rewards from her own hands. She thinks of me as a daughter.
Please know that I do appreciate your comment.
Thanks in advance :D
PS : Besides, I am very new to this forum. So, if I did something wrong, please tell me
