I was going to use a senior consultant I have worked closely with and some other colleagues I have also worked with closely since they can give a good account.

FOr some schools I'm going to use my old supervisor and some current colleagues. Since I'm applying tyo about 6 schools it will be asking too much for my old supervisor to complete all 6.

My plan is to use him for maybe 2 or 3 and then use the senior consultant I've worked with on my team as well as my other colleagues who I have worked closely with including those who came to work in our offices for a year for a couple to.

I'll explain in the additional essay section why I did not include my manager.

Do you need a new letter of recommendation for every school?
Can you not us the same three from three different people for all the schools you apply too?
I have not applied, so I do not know.

To the OP, I would do what ryguy904, and take advantage of explaining your situation in a optional essay if that is possible.

Good luck,
KK

Yeah, I would think that you can use the same recommendations for all schools applied to? That would make sense. Is this not the case?

you sort of can reuse the recommendation, but each school has a different set of questions they ask the recommenders. some of the questions are similar if not identical, but others vary widely. basically, it is kind of a messy, time consuming process for your recommenders.

I totally agree with sudden.

That's why it makes sense if you are going to apply to multiple schools ( 3 +) to have about 5 or more possible recommenders since each school requires no less than 2 recommenders each plus the questions even though similar varies for most schools (especially the top programs).

The questions are in depth so it makes sense not to exhaust one recommender that could harm your application
