The best materials are the official ones (GMATPrep and Official Guide, 11th edition) and Princeton Review's Cracking the GMAT, both for the strategies and for the tests. Only use the computer-adaptive tests (CATs). Kaplan's are not; I don't know about Veritas' or Manhattan Review's.
Recently completed Manhattan Review's 8 class course. I LOVED my instructor. He was intelligent (scored almost perfect on the GMAT himself), understandable (ie-the way in which he explained things made total sense), and enjoyable to learn from (really funny guy). Before making any rash decisions, check out manhattan REview.
Also loved manhattan review. my instructor was great too! who was yours? I always thought the smaller companies were better because they paid more attention to detail. either way, it helped me get into Kellogg!

also liked manhattan. i like that thei instructors were really patient. there are certain concepts that i had a harder time grasping than others. one particular instructor i've had with a different company was very condescending when he explained certain concepts to me.
