Rectangular region PQRS shown above is particularly into ten identical smaller rectangular regions, each of which has width x. What is the perimeter of PQRS in terms of x?
we can observe that one vertical rectangular is equal, in height, to 5 horizontal rectangular
we can state that \(PQ=5x\) and that \(QR=5x+5x=10x\)
Perimeter in terms of x
\(p=2*(5x+10x)=30x\)
