I am quite confused about what to go for on basis of the challenges I have and want to know the eligibility of my selection on basis of my profile :
Education :
10th Std : 72.86 %
Diploma in Electronics & Comm : 69 %
BE in Electronics & Comm : 68%
Exp : 3.7 yrs in IT | MNC medium sized company in Pune
-- 2.4 Yrs | Indian medium sized company, Pune
-- 1.3 yrs(Till date) | MNC medium sized company, Pune
Designation : Senior Software Engineer | Java Technology
Package : 10 Lacs/Annum
Future aspiration : Want to go into management domain (through GMAT or any other if you can suggest on basis of constraints)
Constraints :
1) Can manage without income only for round about a year and not more than that due to some personal reasons.
2) Overseas mba doesn't seems a better option as it requires a lot of investment(excluding bank loan) plus has 2 year programs.
3) Can only pursue 1yr mba in those bschools which has records of providing placements/job offers more then atleast 15 Lacs/Annum. (If it has, I am confident I will crack one for me but getting a offer of lesser income than my current one will not be considered a wise decision to pursue mba)
4) I have a very average educational and professional profile, havn't got any such remarkable award yet. Those things do reduces my chances for selection in best 1 year mba colleges. (Till now : state level winner and runner up in paper presentation in college, has worked side by side with my eduction, nominated for Extra Performance Award in my current company)
Queries :
1) I am looking for 1 year executive mba, Is there any indian/overseas bschools that I can go for considering the constraints I have.
2) Any other programme than 1 year executive mba I can go for considering the constraints.
I am not worried of working even 16 hours a day or feared of getting high scores. I just want to get a correct way for me as my one wrong decision and investment of money+time could impact number of lives and not just me.
I am aware that there's no guarantee of ROI here but I can atleast try to minimize the risk I am taking.
I am very very grateful to the members of pagalguy putting their efforts and time in giving the best guidance to me. Thanks in advance.
Searching for some little hope the convince me that I can pursue further studies in management with the challenges I have.

Shrey
Dear Shrey,
First of all I think your target of one year EMBAS is the wrong one. EMBA are for candidates with on average usually about 9-10 years of experience, and if you do an MBA you will have less access to career resources, and will be in a class where 50% of the class is likely promoted. So I'm not sure than an EMBA really fits your needs.
Ont he other hand a one-year MBA, of which there are many in Europe, might be the right thing for you and your goals.
But the first step is to take your GMAT and see how well you can do, because it is the GMAT in addition to your WE that will define where you can apply to, and how worth it, it is.
Best,
Jon
