can i send transcripts that i got 3 years ago, still sealed to the college. i did not use them after recieving them. or do i have to get new ones?

In my experience, as long as the transcripts are sealed and show all coursework they should be fine even if they were issued a few years ago. However, I've heard of a few schools that wanted "fresh" transcripts but often there were other factors involved (some applicants have the odd habit of sending transcripts that are so old they do not even include all of the student's coursework).
