B is clearly OUT due to "Pronoun" referrent --"their" ...

check the last part of the sentence(RHS of the UNDERLINED part)

MODIFIER Issue dominates here
"when" means the underlined part will end with some YEAR etc(A B do that)

CDE are OUT

hence A

I agree in B , the curved object and "their" do not match
"from when" construction in choices C,D and E does not seem right
so agree with A

I will go with A

B - pronoun error , their and has
C- Curved objects made for throwing boomrangs - changes the meaning , modifier problem as well

D- modifier problem

E - curved objects made for throwing boomrangs - changes the meaning
