Hi kashking,

There are a number of different factors that will impact whether you'll receive an invite to attend any particular Program. Rather than talk in general terms, since you are interested in applying to some highly-competitive Schools, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to act on that advice, the better). There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admissio ... tants-124/

1) When are you planning to take the Official GMAT?
2) What specific application deadlines are you facing?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

May want to check the websites of the universities you are interested in. Some info regarding what they look for in terms of GMAT score, for example, may provide some helpful insight. Reaching out via email or a phone call may not be a bad idea either.

All the best.

Hi Folks,

need some help here

Given the bandwidth and time I have now, it looks like I will land somewhere around 630 to 650 on the GMAT.
I have plans of applying to the top 10 univs of Europe. Will the Gmat score suffice?
Background - Product Manager in an early stage startup, decent to good extra-curriculars and in early stages of building my startup

Hi kashking

You may get some success tips from Ilias' journey who got into HEC with GMAT 640:

Hope this helps!

The average GMAT scores comparison between European schools and US Schools might be a bit misleading. European schools are generally a bit more lenient on your verbal scores. However, they are pretty much the same demanding in Quants scores as are their US counterparts with similar rankings. Also, the GMAT score range might also be greater for European schools. So if your profile is unconventional you might be more likely to be accepted with a lower score in an European school than in a US school. But on the other hand, if you have, for example a typical Indian IT Male profile, then you might need a much higher than the reported average GMAT score of that school. Another way to look at this is that for European schools, in some cases GMAT scores matter less (that is if you have a unconventional profile), and in some cases a good GMAT score can play a more significant role in your getting accepted, since the school will be inclined to keep up their average GMAT score.
