MBA Applicants should not dismiss the vast education opportunities presented by "regional" MBA programs. There are many quality schools offering programs at the regional level. These programs generally do not attempt to be Harvard, Chicago, or Stanford but do provide a fuctional, practical introduction to business. In addition, the regional schools often have strong connections with local business that even the most esteemed schools thousands of miles away cannot match.
Regional MBA programs are often provided by relatively small private colleges and the more vocational/practice oriented state colleges.
