Hi Anna,
Your Unofficial Score results will be available immediately. The Official Results often take 7-14 days to 'certify', including the AWA score. That having been said, the Unofficial scores for the Quant, Verbal, IR and Overall are almost always the same as the Official scores that come later - so you'll already know how you performed.
If you're concerned about an application deadline, then you have to remember that Business Schools often have to review thousands of applications (and the process takes weeks/months), so as long as your application is in on time (and you've correctly reported your score data), then you likely have nothing to worry about if your Official Report isn't available until after the application deadline.

Hi , I too have similar question , I have a cancelled score of 670 and am retaking gmat on 15th oct. My school's deadline is 15th oct only, so if I perform badly, i need to reinstate my previous 670 and submit the app in the night.
Will the unofficial score transcript available immediately as soon as i pay on 15th , else i might need to reinstate earlier than 15th, and let the 670 reflect on my score sheet.
