if it helps, I was rejected too... 3.9, 770 gmat, engineering from HYP, google PM program, white (LGBT) male. these deferred programs really are a crapshoot, I have friends who just got into wharton and were rejected from GSB/Kellogg/Booth, seems like each school plays by its own rules, keep your head up

Wow honestly that's surprising. Although I'm sure you got into other schools with those incredible stats. Honestly, with google, you'd be making more in 2 years than an M7 MBA grad would. Could I ask why you want one? Just out of curiosity.

Did all decisions get released for the deferred MBA? I'm thinking I applied too late.. got rejected with a 3.74 GPA and a GRE of 330 + FAANG experience. (submitted score on the extended deadline to replace a low score, so the last possible day for scores). I'm an ORM, but I honestly thought my stats were solid. I know the admissions were rolling.. was it because I applied too late? Got rejected from 3 M7 MBA's, although 2 of them were with a low GRE, so I'm feeling super down.

I am sorry mate. Did you get rejected with or without interview? I hope both previous posters respond as well.
I got interviewed yesterday (got an invite late june). Still waiting for the decision.
PM isn't ideal role. want to go into non-profit so figure an MBA will give me a leg-up there.
i'm at a slight disadvantage honestly being from HYP, in that my peers are often URM with similar (if not better) stats, so i'm sort of the odd one out. rejected from 2+2 as well, which surprised me lots.

Rejected without interview - if you got the interview you pretty much got accepted so I wouldn't worry. I submitted my new score on 6/30.

Wow that's so weird. I know people with 730 GMAT with intern at PwC, Deloitte who got into Columbia Deferred, so that's honestly so strange. I feel like with your salary level though, an MBA wouldn't be worth the opportunity cost. When did you submit your app/scores?
very early (like beginning of march). being from HYP, you get people with insane backstories ad they're not gonna fill the class with more than 15% HYP. i come from a middle class background, new england, so I really don't have a super strong story. I think that's what did me in-- why take me when you can get an URM with the exact same stats who has an incredible story?
reaper1 I applied 6/1, I think they received my score 6/22, and I got an interview invite today. Maybe they were just further in the process with other candidates? I'm sorry it didn't work out for you, but with your excellent GRE and GPA applying in a few years should work out!!
