Why not take the position, put in a year and then go for an internal transfer? Seems to me that getting INTO google in the first place is the hard part, and an internal application a year in would do well. Plus it sounds like it has an operational bend do it and what you want is operational, so perhaps its not that bad of a fit?
I guess you have to ask yourself if you are willing to loose the chance of working at google because the role isn't ideal. Remember the old tale: industry, function, location..... pick two.
Problem with telling the recruiter is that begs the question - why did you apply to a job you didn't want?
