Dear Mike,
Everyone showers love and attention, which i completely miss back home.
In the above sentence, although meaning is quite clear, i am unable to identify the noun for which -love, attention, or both. which is used for both as per the meaning, but this logic is going out of the box as i read which is relative pronoun, and there should be only one noun or noun phrase that it could modify.
Same issue in this sentence -
If Majaz were alive today, he would have had something sharp to say about the pessimistic tone of the current liberal mood marked by cringing mea culpas and sigh of despair verging almost on throwing in the towel.
Verging modifies both mea culpas and sigh of despair.
Thank you
PS : Both are not GMAT sentence question but i found same structures while solving critical reasoning questions.
