I have taken 3 Kaplan CATs and my scores are the following.

CAT 1 530
2 580
3 570

I am also reviewing the OG 10th edition and updating my error log daily. I'll probably take 2 more Kaplan CATs and see where I am at the point.

thx,

wiseguy

P.S. I purchased Kaplans Qbank and reviewing that and cross referencing that with my error log.

I urge you to put Kaplan away (for now at least) and focus solely on the Official Guide. Spend several hours (re)reading the reviews, and attack the questions.

Kaplan is better for additional practice at the higher score levels.

I agree with eastcoaster9- master the fundamentals of the OG before worrying about more advanced topics. This is the 80/20 rule of the GMAT.

Do you mean put away the Qbank or not use the tests. Because I am not sure if you've used the Qbank, but alot of the questions reflect what is in the OG.

I mean I've had situations where I've learned from mistakes I've made in the Qbank and had something similar thrown at me in the OG.

So I absolutely recommend you try to cross reference both Qbank and the OG. By the way someone that I am in contact with to this day, who I met through the this forum, congratulated me personally a few days after he got a 700 on his GMAT, because I introduced him to the Qbank.

In fact, I spoke with him not to long ago and he told to use my error log and say active on the Qbank.
