In my opinion, recruiting in India from MBA colleges abroad primarily relies on networking. If you rely on Indian recruiters to initially form an impression based on your CV through job portals, that approach is unlikely to yield favorable results. Many HR professionals involved in the shortlisting process may have limited knowledge of prestigious college programs abroad. Moreover, if your resume does reach the hiring manager, they often have a preference for candidates who come with internal referrals. Therefore, it is advisable to leverage your alumni network, explore appealing opportunities, and secure internal referrals while also establishing personal connections within the company.
