what I understood from your brief here is that ' you have have gmat score with validity Aug 2022 and you would be applying to B schools whose applications open in Dec 2022'.
In this case your score wont be valid for the application cycle and you will have to re take the exam.
Score has to be valid at the time of application submission and all schools provide a time frame of gmat score validity required for GMAT application.
Kindly speak with adcom as well to understand what score validity to they look at..

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding GMAT score reporting.
I have a current (within 5 years score) that expires in Aug 2022.
I have target schools in my mind where I am going to apply but their applications open ONLY in Dec 2022.
My question is-
Is it a good idea to forward my GMAT score to that school right away (while it is within the 5 years period) and tell them in the application ( in Dec 2022) that I had forwarded the score to them? When they open the application in Dec 2022/ Jan 2023, will they still be able to see my score which was reported when it was fresh/ valid/ within 5 years as they see a usual score OR will they see it with a note saying "it is outdated, etc?"

In brief, does the school get to "see" my GMAT score as "fresh" if I forward it NOW instead of waiting till Dec 2022 when I get to submit the application?
- Thank you all for your advice in advance.
