While choosing option for five school names during the test, do we have to select schools by some codes or by school names. If it is by codes , do we have to bring a note of these five codes or if it is by school names , how these names are arranged ( alphabetically or something else)

Looking for some light on this

you select from the database by select country, state, city etc... the names are arranged by alphabetical. It is not timed (or you have like 30 minutes to choose).

Not a big deal, not worth worrying about.

Does it matter if you dont fill out the score reporting section to schools? Does it look bad to go back and report afterwards or is there no bearing? Or if you do poorly, is it advantageous not to report your scores during that GMAT test day? Thanks!

It doesn't matter if you do not send schools your score during the exam but send it later. The only thing is that it will cost you to send the scores later. I think its $25 a pop, so during the exam you are effectively "saving" $125 (yeah i know i 50% discount for the test :) )

Yup. It adds up. The one school I applied to, I didn't put on my original report list. Suuucks.

Thanks for the info, I understand that it costs more to do it afterwards.

However for the second part of my question, does it matter lets say if you dont report your score and you got a 500 that day, and then report your score the next time you take it and recieve a 700...

as opposed to reporting your score the day of the 500 and then re-reporting your score when you re-take it and get a 700.

Does it look bad if you send a bad score initially (eventhough you might not apply due that score), or if you send it later with the addition of the higher score, or does it not matter at all?

Guess im still confused about the process...hopefully this clarifies my question further.

the schools get all existing scores up to that point every time you send any score. If they say they only consider the high score, it is your call whether to believe that or not. they still get them all.

i don't this this will look bad, especially since they will see all scores all the time u do report a score. I'd just send it. These schools get 1000s of applications and even more gmat scores. Don't worry, just send them. Until u send a polished application in, you are still an unqualified lead to them.
