Dear experts
Requesting for Guidance, this 26th Dec 2021, I have taken official OG Mock test, with 2 months of 2 hours each day study,
Scored 400 (Q32, V17, IR 6)
I am planning to take, final GMAT Exam by 2nd week of April 2022.
With vertias 6 Mocks, Manhattan 6 Mocks, and OG 1 free mock available with me, Pls guide, how to plan better, while aiming to reach 690 or 700, with dedicated 5 Hours (Morning 3hrs and evening 2hrs) of study?
In Verbal my weakness is SC and RC
In Quants my weakness is probability, P& C and word problems.
Requesting for suggestions and Guidance.

Hi 100mitra,
With a 400, and a Score Goal of 690+, you will have to make some significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level (and giving yourself another 3.5 months of potential study time is a smart choice!).
For future reference, each CAT/mock is really a 'measuring device' - when used correctly, it will give you a realistic score and help define your strengths and weaknesses, but it will NOT help you to fix any of those weaknesses. To raise your scores, you have to learn the necessary Tactics and put in the proper practice and repetitions. The CAT will show you whether your studies are helping you to improve or not. In addition, the process of taking (and reviewing) a CAT requires a significant amount of energy and effort - and takes time to 'recover' from. This is one of the reasons why you typically should not take more than 1 CAT per week - and your last CAT should be taken about 1 week before Test Day. Going forward, you really should not take more than 1 FULL CAT per week.
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) What study materials have you used so far? Have you taken any other CATs/mocks besides this recent one?
2) Are you planning to take the At-home GMAT or are you planning to take your GMAT at a Test Facility?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Since you scored 400, about 300 points off your score goal, I would be careful about too narrowly defining your weak areas. At this point, I would suggest looking to improve in all aspects of GMAT quant and verbal rather than just a select few topics.
