I worked at a proprietary trading firm for a year as a trading assistant, basically trading US Treasuries overnight during Asian and European sessions on day traders' account.
GMAT:
730 (Q51, V37)
Academics:
Emory University (3.58 / Major GPA: 3.77) Major: BSc in Applied Mathematics, Class of 2013
I transferred from Georgia Tech after my freshman year, where I studied Biomedical Engineering and had GPA: 2.97
So Overall GPA: 3.42 / Major GPA: 3.67
I was a premed, which I took biology, chemistry, physics and organic chem. I didn't do great on some of the science courses (C's)
Also, I didn't really do well during my Freshman year due to lack of focus and studying at Georgia Tech.
Extra-curriculars
I was pre-med, so I took part in medical research at school. I worked 13~14 hours overnight at the prop shop, so don't have extra-curricular when I was trading.
I worked about a year at the Endocrinology department at Emory Children's Clinic, analyzing the effects of continuous quality improvement (CQI) assessment on diabetic patients and presented the findings at the Emory Health Care Quality Conference.
Also, I worked about two years at HIV clinic, researching he effects of HIV antiretroviral treatments and HIV resistance mutations on the following conferences: Fifth Annual Department of Medicine Research Day & American Federation for Medical Research Southern Regional Meeting, which I received SIRE Grant to travel to the conference to present.
I went to Costa Rica & Nicaragua for about 15 days and performed clinical duties, such as interviewing the patients and performing physical exams under supervision of licensed bilingual local physicians.
I volunteered at Navy Marine Corps Relief Society for couple months and tutored low-income children from third world countries.
Target: My target is Berkeley Haas.
Application Cycle: R3 2014-5
Goal: I have never studied finance in college, and with such background my options in finance are very shallow.
So I want to use MBA to study in finance and hopefully work in investment banking in San Francisco post MBA.

Thanks for writing,
So overall I like the looks of your profile. Besides your good grades and GMAT, which of course count for a lot, there is something interesting about your profile.
Noe the BIIIIG question for me, is what strategy to take when you apply. I didn't really get the exact chronology of your work experience, but it seems to me like right now even if your REAL goals are finance, it might actually be better for you to apply with Med/Pharma goals, which would make you very employable as well as tie into to your past. Although it may not be necessary (once again, this time depending upon the extent of your trading experience).
I think people won't hold it against you toooooo much for not having too many extra currics, given that you were in pre-med and were working. But still if you have one wee thing, it'd be good.
Other than that, R3 is always a long shot, but if have your heart set on Berkley and can make a good case for going there (plus let them know that you have your heart set on them), it sure can't hurt to try. And I think you'd have a shot. Maybe a less good one than in R1, but fair enough....
