Hi everyone, welcome to my post. I am requesting for a profile evaluation please.
I have a low GPA so I would like to get an expert's point of view.
Do i stand a chance in getting into this college or what do you suggest I should enhance?

- GMAT - 710 (49Q)
Age: 25
Argentina, Business Administration
College: University of Buenos Aires
GPA: 2.5
Work experience: Worked 6 years at IBM, where I currently hold a leadership role. (2 years leading a team)
Other extra curriculars: Programming skills. Fluent in three languages: Spanish, english and portuguese
Career Goals: Post MBA, I would like to work at consulting or strategy.
Do i stand a chance in getting into this college or what do you suggest I should enhance?

Hi there,
You have a good chance of getting into Duke Fuqua. Your GMAT score is bang on average, your work ex is excellent and you increase diversity of class (Argentina). I hope you have some extra curricular activities or community involvement to give you some extra boost. Also, why is your GPA so low? Did you convert it and mention here?
Which other schools are you targeting? Let me know if you need any help.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to read my post.
Adding more information:
-Extra curricular activities: I taught Statistics at the university (ad-honorem) for 5 months and participated in a foundation building houses for homeless people (5 months)
-GPA: This is what really worries me, it is low and I feel it might act as a blocker for me entering the university. The reason is that I had to start working at an early age (19) to assist my family with the expenses. I started working full time at IBM and completed my college career on time, while working full time, but that messed up my GPA.
What would be my odds to enter? Do you think there is something I could do to strength my applcation?
