I gave my Gmat a week ago and got 650(Q50, V28) and wanted to get thoughts about my profile in order to understand what schools would be best for me.
*Im going to retake GMAT in mid august and I am thinking to apply in the 1st round(My scores in practice tests were around 730 so retaking gmat in order to achieve a score similar to my practice scores)
Age - 23
Nationality - Indian
Education - Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay with CPI/CGPA: 8.8/10
12th - 87.4%
10th - 92.2%
Work Experience - 1 year in Oracle as an Applications Engineer (will be 2 years at time of joining)
2 months in HDFC Bank as an analyst
Extra-Currics - Taught math chapters for a whole semester at a NGO
Participated in a demonitization drive under which we went to unpriviledge people in certain areas and taught them ways to use digital payment methods, informed and help them in the process for exchanging their currency
Role after mba - Financial Services/ Technology
Questions-
1. Is my profile good enough to be considered for the top10/ top20 schools
2. Can you suggest Dream, Target and Achievable schools in my current/expected score range
3. What chance do i have of getting a scholarship

I don't see it as it stands now. You're on the young side and, while you are confident in your ability to score better on the GMAT, have not achieved the 730+ needed to get you over the hump. Your ECs sound good but slightly underdeveloped. You are better off waiting at least 1-2 years. This would allow you to properly develop your work experience, improve your ECs, likely strengthen your letters of recommendation and take your time on the GMAT.
2. Can you suggest Dream, Target and Achievable schools in my current/expected score range
If you are interested in Financial Services / Technology, I would think about schools like NYU Stern, Michigan Ross, and UC Berkeley Haas, among others. That, of course, depends on you following up on my response in the previous question.

Very low for the Top 10/20. I think you'll have a hard time getting in, much less getting scholarship money. Heed my advice and you'll stand a better chance of possibly getting into a great school and securing some money.

But lets say i apply to schools next year or after 2 years, while it does help me prepare for gmat better, can you suggest what i can do during this time to help improve my profile
