Extra Curricular Achievements
1. Achieved 1st position in English Elocution competition held under DeshPrem Mahotsav 2014 by the Literary club of DIT university. The Director and the vice-chancellor of the college judged the participants on the basis of the content of speech, grammar, tone and articulation. 900+ students of the college participated in the same at the college level. – 2014
2. Secured 1st position at college level in Essay writing organized by the Red Ribbon Club at DIT University. The Nodal officer of the Red Ribbon club (Uttarakhand State AIDS control society) evaluated the submissions on the relevance to the content and the general awareness on the topic which was provided on the spot. – 2013
3. Accomplished 1st position at inter-school level symposium on the topic of Global warming : a weapon of mass destruction. Several schools competed and each participant was allowed to present his/her ideas using collaboration of models, posters and speech. - 2008
4. Achieved second position in inter-school Declamation contest on the topic "Literacy is Remedy" on "World Literacy Day, 8th September, 2008" organized by Indian Federation of United Nations Association (IFUNA) & Haryana UN Foundation at Alpine Valley Boarding School, Ballabgarh – 2008
5. i) Got selected and worked as “Editor and Creative writer” in the Editorial Board of DIT University. The board was responsible for publishing the annual college magazine “Pratibimb” and the quarterly newsletter.
ii) Also worked as STPO (Students Training and Placement Officer) in the T&P department in DIT University and conducted and participated in various campus placement driven activities.
iii) Appointed as the Vice President of the Personality Development Club in college. Under this club organized various academic and sports events from 2013-2016.
6. Achieved 1st position in “Fusion dance” competition at secondary school level. Also won 2nd position in “solo folk dance” event in which 500+ students participated from different schools showcasing the dance forms from their native state.
