Hi
Charu11111,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
To start, you've got an excellent GPA. Next, it's great to see your experience at a well-known global company. You've progressed quickly within software engineering, and you've made efforts to get involved outside of your core work through hackathons, sports, and volunteer work. My only concern there is that it seems like most of your current "extracurriculars" are tied to your company, so that could be an area to strengthen, to show Admissions what you are passionate about outside of work, and how you give back to others in other communities too. But it's also far better to have that extra involvement at work than none at all! 3 years experience is within range to apply to MBA programs, though a bit on the lighter side. In particular, I wonder if Admissions will see enough cross-functional exposure and leadership, if all your work has been within one function, especially a highly technical one. Perhaps you have strong examples that you just didn't have space here to list, which is fine.
The last point I wanted to mention is your GMAT score -- 710 is quite strong, but depending on which types of programs you intend to aim for, that could be below average (e.g., the top ~15 programs in the US have higher averages). GMAT can also be a factor in scholarship decisions, so if that is an important factor for you, then I would consider retaking to try to maximize your score.
The decision around which schools to target is a highly individual one -- it depends on your learning priorities, your ideal career goals, your location preferences, etc. I suggest you do some initial research on some of the differences and then start to shortlist programs. Here's a good resource to start with:
