Thanks for sharing your profile, and all of your experiences. Your GMAT is respectable and your work history is solid, but it WILL be quite tough to get into many of the strong US programs, because they will immediately question-- WHY. Why go back at THIS point in your career. And why get a 2nd MBA. Is this the right move for him. So it's not the 'age' per se, it's more trying to convince them that this makes sense for you, NOW, and that you deserve even more than many other competitive applicants without an MBA already, a place on their program. You may be best served by looking roughly outside the top 20/25, just food for thought. You will also want to refine your immediate post-MBA goals further.
