Hi,
Please help me by evaluating my profile. (Age 23, Female, Indian)
1) GMAT Score: 720 (Q48, V41)
2) Work Experience: 2 years full-time running my own start-up (by May 2016). 3 years part-time (while pursuing undergraduation) running the same start-up. 3 months IT internship in Europe.
3) Undergraduate Studies: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from top private engineering university in India. GPA: 8.4/10
4) Extracurriculars: Member of Student Council representing 5000 students of the college. Won national and international awards including b-plan contests on the same idea as my start-up. Conceptualized an idea of competition which is conducted pan-India and 10k students participate in it.
Post MBA goals: Portfolio Manager/ Investment Manager at a top fund or Tech
I am planning to apply to B-schools for 2016-2018 program. Please let me know which schools will be suitable.

Hi there!
So first off I think your academic stats are very strong...good GMAT and GPA...but remember that the Indian applicant pool is very competitive. I think in your case, the entrepreneurial experience will help you stand out, and the experience working in Europe too. I also like that you were able to manage school on top of working part-time at your startup - shows a lot about your drive and focus. It sounds like you had strong extracurriculars during university, but have you had much community involvement or leadership experience outside work since then? If not then that could be a potential weak area. I also think the question of timing is really important for you to address...at 23 and with only 2 years full time work experience, you're very much on the low end of the experience range...average at many schools is more like 4-6 years. It's not a dealbreaker but something you'll need to address in your applications.
I'd narrow in on either the Inv Mgmt or Tech goal for your essays and be specific about what your post MBA path looks like. The Tech angle may make more sense given your background.
Without knowing more about your goals and what's important to you it's hard to advise on specific programs. I think the very top US programs are going to be a stretch, just given your experience level and the competitiveness of your demographic. Let us know if we can help with any more questions!

Can you please suggest me some schools to look at for this? I am really very confused about this.
Also, there are some top schools which mention specifically that they look at profiles which have 0-2 work ex like Harvard, Columbia, Wharton, Yale etc. So does this really happen or it is a long stretch?
