@ whiplash2411: Thanks, yes of course. Those were just basic examples. I just wanted more tricky items which tend to appear on GMAT. For example, if we are sure that a question can come on GMAT involving square of 152, then to save time, it is better to learn such stuff by heart.

@YourDreamTheater: Thanks for those links. They are helpful. I have a lot of such stuff and books available. I am looking for things/items that are known to increase our problem solving speed on GMAT.

Regards
Farukh

Yeah, but chances are the questions on the GMAT will be more about using a certain concept to break down that number into something else rather than memorizing random things. But IMHO, mastering concepts > memorizing tricks :)

Dear All,

I have found just the right book to study and improve my problem solving skills. Below are the links to the book "Number Properties GMAT Strategy Guide, 4th Edition. This book is part of the Manhattan GMAT Preparation Guides. It is very precisely written to cover all that you need to understand, learn and cram:

https://www.amazon.com/Number-Properties ... 690&sr=8-1

https://books.google.com.pk/books?id=Urr ... &q&f=false

Regards,
Farukh
