Hi !
I am an Indian Male, age 35. I completed my B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering in 2002, and, since then, has been working in automobile industry in sales & marketing function with leading MNCs for last around 12 years. Presently, I am at Middle level in my career, and took GMAT thrice 560 in 2010, 590 in 2014 & 570 in 2015.
I want to do MBA in General Management with major areas of Strategy, Marketing & Sales, and with minor in Finance, but disheartened with 3 failure attempts as could not cross 700 level. I am looking forward to your suggestion for following queries:
1. Whether I should retake GMAT to improve my score to 700 level in 4th attempt as B schools may take more number of attempts as negative.
2. Whether my over age around 35 years and over experience around 12 years are not suitable for class profile of top B schools regular MBA course.
3. Will doing MBA even from top B schools at this career will boost my career i.e. to help me in achieving my goal to be at CEO or Managing Director level in automobile industry in next 10 years.
Please revert as this will help me in clarifying doubts to take right decision at this point of my life.

Hi,
You obviously need to change your approach in studying for GMAT so that you are able to cross the 570-90 barrier. Analyse what you are doing wrong and make corrections.
Which geography are you interested in doing the MBA from? With your work experience you should eye the executive MBA programs. In India, all the IIMs have their executive MBAs, which are one year, full time residential courses. You will need to score close to 700 to be eligible.

They just consider your highest GMAT Score and the improvement you have gradually made in each attempt. I would definitely recommend you to retake your GMAT.
2. Whether my over age around 35 years and over experience around 12 years are not suitable for class profile of top B schools regular MBA course. Definitely, your age and work experience is more than the average work experience of B-Schools but if you can portray your story(profile) very well in your essays you can have a good chance of getting an admit. I would also recommend you to consider Executive MBA program.
3. Will doing MBA even from top B schools at this career will boost my career i.e. to help me in achieving my goal to be at CEO or Managing Director level in automobile industry in next 10 years. To answer this question, I need to go through your resume first.
