Nationality : Indian
Gender : Female
Age : 37 years
Education : Electrical and Electronics Engineer from a reputed college in India , (CGPA equivalent to 80%) / Topper in Class XII and X
Other Certifications : Project Management Professional (PMP)
Work Experience : 13.5 years of global experience in Supply Chain Management. I have worked with organizations such as IBM, General Motors and Vedanta
Resources. I have lived in UK and worked for a European company for two years as well.
GMAT Score : 600 (Q48, V25)
IELTS : 7.5
I am currently based in India and on a short career break.
Objective
I want to pursue an Executive MBA (in Canada, Europe or US - No particular geography preference though) to hone my leadership skills and catapult my career.
Seeking advice on the following:
(i) Am I too old to do an Executive MBA?
(ii) Most of the Executive MBAs I have come across are part time week end classes and travelling to Canada / US or Europe every month does not make sense unless I am based in the city where these Programs are held. And since I am based in India, Part time Executive MBA does not seem a feasible option to me. Do you think otherwise ?
(iii) Can you please recommend a one year full time Executive MBA Program I could apply to given my score and experience. If possible, I wish to be in the class starting in Fall of 2017.

Hi Richa,
If you have enough management experience (a bit hard to assess without a full resume; feel free to sign up for our free consultation option at any point if interested fyi which includes a brief resume review), you could apply for an EMBA and no you are not too old. However yes many would require classes at least once/month in their base location. But the structure of programs vary a lot so research each individually. Some of those at top European schools are even more global in nature and structure than some US options, but again it varies. In terms of full-time Exec programs, I know of MIT Sloan Fellows, Stanford MSx, LBS has a version of Sloan Fellows... these are less common though. Keep researching and keep in touch, good luck on you decisions!
