Hi all,
I am an Indian IT male working with a MNC with the designation of a developer but throughout my 4 years of work, I have worked towards implementing solutions and have proactively changed various implementation designs to increase efficiency of the solutions.My most recent project resulted in savings of USD 250k ( I have a letter from the Finance dept!
) for my team by eliminating the need for a 3rd party license.
I aim to get into the field of IT consulting and then (5-7 years from completion of MBA) move on to management consulting.
I have taken GMAT twice . The first time ( Oct '10), I got a score of 680 ( Q47,V36) but a horrible AWA (3.5) mainly because I was not at all prepared for it. I got a reject from ISB and during the feedback I was told to improve my essays and AWA.
With that feedback, I prepared well this time but unfortunately, I managed to get 650 (Q44,V36) although I believe my AWA score will be much better.
Please provide your thoughts on the profile and suggest schools which are partial to IT profiles :D
