two independent clause should be separated by semicolon not by comma. hence, E is the correct answer.

Options A and B are incorrect because the occurrence of which can logically modify both typhoid fever and typhoid fever treatment, thus resulting in pronoun ambiguity.

Option C is a run on sentence because 'however' is not a co-ordinating conjunction and can not connect two IC.

In option D, the use of 'where' is incorrect as there is no physical location here.

Option E is the correct answer. (IC;IC) :)
