It's been a long journey, and I'm very fortunate to be in this situation. I've be admitted to 4 schools and have decided to go to HBS. However, I have been receiving many phone calls and emails from students from the other three schools. What is the more appropriate/polite thing to do? Should I just tell them that I have decided to go somewhere else or do I politely let them know if I have any questions that I'll reach out to them?

I think you should tell them you've decided to go somewhere else. I'm sure you are among others on their list of people to keep track of and call, and it would be a courtesy to give them the heads up that you have plans to go elsewhere.

I'm fortunate to be in a similar situation. For the schools I'm rejecting, I'm just going to send a nice email to the students that have been reaching out. Will thank them for answering questions, let them know where I'm going to school instead, etc.

:)

as one of the students who will be calling admitted candidates soon, I would definitely appreciate a nice note or reply politely saying that you have selected another school. It's the nice thing to do and won't leave anyone hanging. :)

Are you calling on behalf of admissions? Do overseas applicants get called to or should we just wait until the 28th to check email?

I'm trying my best not to go insane these next couple of days...

no, I won't be calling on behalf of admissions. It's just our way of welcoming admitted students. We have students call admits to congratulate them. :)
