Response to thank you mail after the interview

Hi All,

I had an interview with one of the asian schools couple of days back. As usual after the interview i sent a thank you mail. I have not received any reply to my mail till now. Does this mean I'm out of contention or am i thinking too much ? I was expecting a reply by the way.
What do you say folks?

You mean you haven't received a reply right? I think you are thinking too much. A thank you note is a thank you note so your interviewer has no need to reply to it. Unless there is some specific info you are asking for?

Agree. I did not get a reply to my thank you e-mail at one of the schools and a month later, voila! an admit!.

Out of my two interviews I got one reply almost immediately and never heard from the other. I wouldnt worry about it.

I had two interviews so far and have not received reply for my Thank You emails from ANY of the interviewers!! I thought this is the norm, but it seems I was wrong. Should I worry?

I had my interview on campus with an Adcom. The email which she had given was a generic email like mbaadmissions@..

Should one send thankyou notes for interviewing with Adcoms too, especially when the email given is very generic?

Yes I think you should send the mail. You can mention the name of the person who interviewed in the mail.
