For anyone who is working on a resume for a part time job or even an internship, I found a couple of good sites with samples. It always helps me to see other resumes for inspiration before I write my own. http://finance-resumes.com and http://engineer-resumes.com/

You should explore a lot of informational portals before creating a good resume. The thing is, your resume should include all the necessary information and at the same time, you should exclude all the information which is not relevant. For example, you shouldn't write about you finishing a cooking course when you want to be hired into an IT firm. (Ridiculous example, but nevertheless) Choose a package of skills which you should describe and prove, remember all the relevant experience (not only jobs but also some projects, certificates, etc.), dates and create a plan and a structure of your resume.
