Hi Calvarado,
Your score goal is a reasonable one, so beyond your desire to find a study group, you should consider HOW you're approaching this process.
Based on what you wrote, you've clearly tried to study before, but 'your way' of studying didn't get you to your score goal. That ultimately means that you have to try something different. To that end, I'd like to know how you studied before, so that I can offer some suggestions:
1) How long did you study before each of your two GMATs?
2) What study materials did you use?
3) How were you scoring on your practice CATs before you took the GMAT?
4) Did you have trouble finishing any of the sections on Test Day? Did you finish any of them early? Did you have to rush through a bunch of questions just to finish on time (or did you leave any questions unanswered?)?
Thankfully, the GMAT is a predictable, standardized Test, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. We just have to make sure that you have the proper materials and that you're studying in the right way.
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
