Hi all!
I am applying to masters this year,and has been preparing for gmat since November
First Month I went to local Russian offline courses,got the basics-it was helpful in the beginning,my gmat PREP was 460,whereas on the real exam -1/12 - I got
560(Q38,V27).I prepared for Quant and Verbal doing official guide 16,but revised
After that,on 22/12-Have been preparing for about 2 weeks,mainly did 2CATS,read Manhattan SC & Powerscore CR ,practiced Question bank of official guide 12,got 600 (Q44,V30)
After that score I was disappointed,but subscribed to e-gmat verbal &hired a tutor on verbal
I spent 1 month only on VERBAL-literally shut myself at home and all days were just doing GMAT
We went on everything from a scratch and my accuracy on Verbal quizzes slowly went up,on SC from 60 to 80%,on CR from 40 to 60%,RC didn't practice,but my score in cats was usually constant -around 60-70%
I used Question PACK 1 of GMAT PREP,sets my tutor gave from Princeton 1012/Manhattan/Kaplan800,problems from EGMAT Scholanarium ,did 4 CATs(from Exam pack of GMAT PREP)- my results were 590,620,660,640.the breakdown was around 40-45 on Quant and Verbal (35-40)
Somehow I got a really bad sleep before exam because of anxiety ,could get to sleep only around 4 am,for around 3 hours
My quant was ok,guessed in a middle like 5-6 questions,but could still get Q49
As for verbal,my time management was bad..I was ok with SC
CR lots of questions complete/boldface-about 5for sure,whereas I prepped for mostly strengthen/weaken/assumption/inference)
RC -got 4 passages
,2 at the beginning really easy passages,but tricky questions,could narrow up to 2 choice,but had problems to choose..I think on RC I spent too much time double-checking
In the end had like 15 questions left for 18 minutes...got a passage on RC,CR,SC-RC I guessed all 4 questions,but still did not have time for CRs left-had to guess about 3 of them
Overall got 630(Q49,V28)...Got really devastated

I plan to retake GMAt soon,in March...have to apply this score to mostly all schools as deadline are middle of February(I really need at least 650 +(condition by schools)
Would really appreciate any of your advices how to prepare further !!and is it possible to improve upon 2 weeks ?is it worth retaking?If my best CAT was 670,and ppl usually get lower 30-50 points on the real exam
Which materials to use if I have exhausted all the official guide&Gmat Prep question and Exam packs for Question Bank?
