When is it worth retaking the GMAT for a higher score? Can anyone provide some perspective?
I'm half way through my MBA at Univ. of Florida. This is not a top tier school, but rising surprisingly fast. Nonetheless, my 650 is lower than I think I'm capable of, but maybe it is more of a personal goal to get into the 700s. I believe i read somewhere that people would retake the GMAT based on trying to get a job within a high profile company. But maybe that doesn't matter since I'm not attending a top tier school anyway. What do you think?

The GMAT is definitely NOT worth retaking in your situation. Devote your time and energy on looking for jobs, networking, and preparing for interviews.

It would not hurt if you are trying to get your Ph.D from a top school within the next 5 years, in something business related, then you can apply to top schools.
Job wise, employers don't care what you've score. Employers want linked in, networking, etc. Good Luck!
