Hello All,
I recently completed my first actual exam and scored a 640 (Q40 V38) (my debrief is in the share experience forum for reference). I was/still am extremely down and out after my experience. I took a
MGMAT class and studied for around 5 straight months (scored 4 680s in a row on my last four practice exams under real conditions). Anyway, enough complaining, I am hoping to get back on the horse and fight the GMAT one more time. I read all of the Retaking GMAT thread, but wanted opinions on a specific strategy I should undertake. A few random things:
I didn't do any of GMATPrep before my exam.
I did alot of OG12 problems and went through all of
MGMAT books (some several times in my problem areas).
The highest score I ever reached on Q was 46 and V was 39.
I have always had slight timing issues (i.e. I'll spend a little too long on certain problems) However, on the actual exam, I did feel as if I were guessing alot more than normal. I wasn't all that stressed either, for some reason, I just couldn't see the problems like I did on the
MGMAT tests. It was almost a big blur for me.
Thanks again and hopefully I can one day beat this thing.
